How We Hire

A Step-By-Step Guide to Our Hiring Process

We take hiring seriously at Landmark. We spend time getting to know our candidates to ensure they are the right fit for the position. We want every associate at Landmark to be successful, so we must take the time to make the best match. Feel free to reach out to us with your questions. We will be with you every step of the way!

Step 1: Apply

The first step on your career journey with Landmark is finding the right position and applying. Our career list includes part-time job openings and full-time positions in various locations across Kansas. During the application process, we’ll ask you for some basic information and a resume to get you started on your application.

Step 2: Preliminary Screening

Our HR team will complete an initial screening of all applications to assess previous experience and follow up with you to address any questions or concerns about your application.

We will ask select candidates to complete an aptitude and personality profile test. Criteria Corp administers the employment assessments. You will receive a link via email to complete the employment assessments and receive a summary report upon completion of this assessment.

Step 3: Interview

Our team may invite you for an interview. We use a behavioral-based interview process to learn more about your past experiences. This is an excellent chance for you to learn more about us and for us to learn more about you!

The initial interview is with the HR Department via phone or Zoom. Expect a structured interview with behavioral-based questions. Select candidates will interview with the Hiring Manager, and you may meet other LNB associates, too.

The final interview is with the Hiring Manager and Division Leadership. You may also meet other LNB associates. They will conduct the interview via Zoom or in-person. Expect a structured interview with behavioral-based questions.

Step 4: Reference Check

Your references may hear from us after the second interview. Share contact information with our HR team for at least two people familiar with your work history. At least one reference will need to be a former supervisor or teacher.

Share contact information for people who can discuss details about your work in a professional or educational setting, day-to-day habits, and personal characteristics. 

Step 5: Employment Verification

The final step in the hiring process is completing a background check and reviewing your credit report. The successful applicant will receive an offer of employment contingent on a satisfactory background check and credit report.
