Michael oversees the commercial and agricultural banking efforts in Western Kansas. With over 10 years of experience, Michael’s work is focused on learning about a business – including their goals, challenges and expectations. Using defined processes to determine client needs, Michael has demonstrated the ability to meet the banking needs from young-beginning business owners to multi-entity, multi-location businesses.

When returning home to Western Kansas, Michael’s primary goal was to have a positive impact on the community. His community involvement includes the Dodge City Area Chamber of Commerce Board of Directors (Chair, 2018 & 2019), joint City-County Commission appointment to the Community Facility Advisory Board and the Dodge City Catbackers. Other leadership involvement includes the Kansas FFA Foundation Board of Trustees and the K-State College of Agriculture Ag Alumni Board (Chair, 2018-2019). In his spare time Michael enjoys watching K-State Athletics, Kansas City Chiefs football, and Kansas City Royals baseball; as well as traveling with friends, golf and red dirt music.
